Romanian is a Category I language, meaning it’s easy to learn for native English speakers. FSI estimates that it will take up to 580 hours or 23 weeks of study to reach Romanian fluency. With 1 hour of study every day, you’ll reach fluency in 1.5 years. You can learn Romanian in less than 100 days by intensively studying for 6 hours daily. Alternatively, with 20 minutes of Romanian every day, you’ll reach fluency in 4.5 years. A study suggests that with 3-5 hours of study per week, you could be fully fluent and accurate in Romanian within a year.
Beginner (A1): Understand and use basic Romanian phrases. You can speak a little with native speakers, but they need to talk slowly for you to follow.
Advanced Beginner (A2): You can discuss your daily schedule and surroundings. Basic expressions help you communicate, but in-depth conversations are still difficult.
Intermediate (B1): You can speak in full sentences and navigate comfortably while traveling, reading signs, and asking for directions.
Advanced (B2): Communicate easily with native speakers, discuss complex topics, and express opinions with a broad vocabulary.
Expert (C1/C2): You’ve mastered Romanian, communicating fluently with ease. You can read, write, and speak comfortably, conveying complex ideas with style and structure."

Yes, there is a personalised learning program designed for each language and student according to your level and expectations.
At the end of each month you receive an invoice according to the number of sessions/ hours you have taken in that month, you have 5 days to pay it. No payment in advance. Each student receives a contract with clear terms and conditions, including number of hours, price per hour, total amount that needs to be paid by the end of the module, program and duration of the contract.
According to your needs and availability we will send you a weekly program, and if you agree you can start immediately after signing the contract, No payment in advance!
At the end of each course you will receive a final progress report according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) as a guide for our levels, which range from A1 (Beginner) to C2 (Advanced) and if you complete a course with us you will receive a certificate. This will be an Language School Downtown certificate and it is proof that you have completed a course of study with us, with your attendance and final language level. This is applicable for courses studied at our centres as well as online courses.

Get a QUOTE! Our tuition fees vary depending on the course you choose, the duration of the course, and the level of language knowledge.
There is a 15 % discount for the second module and there is an additional 10 % module if you come with a friend of family member.
We offer a variety of discounts to make our courses even more affordable. If you pay the course fee in full at least one week before the course commencement date you receive a discount of 5%. For your second module, you get a discount of 5%. Discounts are not cumulative.
The test is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), allowing you to see how your language skills match up to the international standard.
We provide an initial placement report at the beginning of the course, a mid-report once completed 50% of the course and a final progress report at the end of the course.
With 24 hour notice prior to class, no charges are applied and the course is rescheduled. For less than 24 hours prior to class or canceled on short noticed the session will be charged.
